Road Trip

Tim is on vacation this week, so he and Jay spent the better part of the last 2 days in search of stone. We decided a while back to use soapstone for the kitchen counter tops. Now all we had to do was find some slabs.

We were initially disappointed in the local soapstone selection and feared we may have to settle for granite (gasp!). But our last stop at the somewhat creepy North Star Surfaces’ warehouse in north St. Paul provided an ample supply of beautiful soapstone.
